Three levels of entirety practice in Qi Science

Three levels of entirety practice

The Evolution of Practice

Qi Science describes three levels of entirety practice, each representing a deeper integration of body, qi and consciousness.

In Qi Science, there are three main entirety levels of practice. The third level entirety is the practice of Mingjue entirety state.

1st level: Consciousness and Qi serve for body
2nd level: Consciousness and body serve for Qi
3rd level: Qi and body serve for consciousness

First Level of Entirety Practice
Consciousness and Qi serve for body

At the first level of entirety practice, the body is the primary focus within the entirety of body, consciousness and qi.

Consciousness becomes absorbed in bodily sensations, posture and movement, while awareness of qi is still limited or only occasionally experienced, often in the hands or other parts of the body.

Many traditional practices begin at this level, and in the past, many people learning Qi Science also started their practice here. At this stage, consciousness acts as the observer, primarily directing its attention toward the body.

Second Level of Entirety Practice
Consciousness and body serve for Qi

At the second level of entirety practice, qi becomes the primary focus within the entirety of body, qi and consciousness. As consciousness observes the body more deeply, the body is gradually experienced as a state of qi rather than a physical form—like an open, boundless space. In this state, practitioners experience themselves as a qi body, feeling at one with the universal qi field. This direct experience gradually gives rise to a qi-based understanding of life, bringing greater peace, harmony and inner freedom. With consistent practice, many physical and energetic blockages naturally dissolve.

Many practitioners have reached this level and experienced its profound benefits. However, if consciousness becomes attached to the experience of qi, this attachment itself can become a limitation and may create new obstacles related to qi and emotions, making it difficult to progress further. As a result, some practitioners remain at this level for many years or eventually discontinue their practice.

Third Level of Entirety Practice
Qi and body serve for consciousness

At the third level of entirety practice, consciousness becomes the primary focus within the entirety of body, qi and consciousness. Rather than observing the body or qi, consciousness becomes aware of itself. This awakened state is called Mingjue (明觉).

As Mingjue merges with the qi body and the universal qi field, a Mingjue-centered entirety state is formed. Consciousness becomes the master, and true conscious practice—and ultimately a conscious way of life—begins.

As Mingjue becomes clearer and purer, practitioners naturally experience finer levels of qi, allowing the entirety state to develop more rapidly. Consciousness becomes increasingly free, stable, powerful and confident.

Mingjue transcends old patterns, fixed reference frameworks and conditioned ways of thinking. From this state of freedom, it can receive new information that is in harmony with the fundamental laws of life and the universe, transforming both the individual and the way they live. This gives rise to more harmonious relationships, a more harmonious way of life.

Dr. Pang said:
This level practice is the master key which can open all the doors – resolve body, emotional, mental, and social problems and remove distracting thoughts – bringing freedom and harmony to oneself and the world.

At this level, consciousness is highlighted in the Qi field created by the practitioner. We call it “consciousness field”, “awakening consciousness field”, or “Mingjue consciousness field”. In this field, all the awakening consciousnesses merge together heart to heart, support each other, love each other, to benefit oneself and lead humans to evolve to a higher level.

The evolution of humanity is the development of the world consciousness field.
